- What is the difference between KrisPay and Kris+?
Kris+, previously known as KrisPay, is Singapore Airlines’ lifestyle app. All the things you could do previously with KrisPay can also be found on Kris+, and keep your eyes on a lookout for our newly added features to “plus” more to your desired lifestyle!
- What are KrisPay miles, and what is the difference between KrisFlyer miles and KrisPay miles?
With the Kris+ app, KrisFlyer members can transfer their KrisFlyer miles to KrisPay miles through the in-app’s Transfer function, and then redeem their KrisPay miles for their everyday purchases at partner outlets.
- Is there a validity period for KrisPay miles?
KrisPay miles are valid for 6 calendar months after the month of transfer. For example, if you transferred 100 KrisPay miles into your KrisPay Wallet on any day in January 2019, they will expire on 31 July 2019, at 23:59 hours Singapore time (GMT +08:00 hours).
Once your KrisPay miles have expired, there will be no extension of the validity period of these KrisPay miles. KrisFlyer members may tap on ‘Wallet’ in the menu bar to view the number of KrisPay miles they have expiring in the current month.
- It is stated that 15 KrisPay miles is approximately S$0.10. What does this mean?
This means you can offset approximately S$0.10 from your redemption with 15 KrisPay miles. This conversion rate may be subject to change. Please refer to the terms and conditions of Kris+.
- What is a Kris+ Privilege?
Kris+ privileges are deals offered by Kris+ partners. To enjoy a Kris+ privilege, scan the Kris+ partner’s QR code and pay for the purchase either by redemption of KrisPay miles or payment using cash, debit/credit card.
- What permissions do I need to allow for Kris+ to work on my mobile device?
For the optimal experience, we recommend that you enable the following settings on your Kris+ app:
- Push notifications – To be notified of expiring KrisPay miles, latest promotions and transactions made
- Camera access – To enable redemption via QR code scanning at our partners’ outlets;
- Location services – To discover Kris+ privileges and Kris+ partners around your current location; and
- Camera and Storage access – To personalise your profile picture.
- Can I login to my Kris+ account on multiple mobile devices?
Yes. However, for the security of your account, you are encouraged to log out once you’ve completed your transactions.
- What are the Kris+ security measures used to protect my account?
Kris+ uses 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) as a security measure upon first log-in on a new device. You will be sent a One-Time-Password (OTP) to either your registered mobile number or email address. Please ensure that your mobile number and/or email address in your KrisFlyer account is/are updated correctly. After successfully logging into your Kris+ account for the first time, subsequent log-ins will not require a 2FA verification again unless you log in via a new mobile device.
- Can I use the Kris+ mobile app outside of Singapore?
Currently, KrisPay miles can be earned and redeemed at partners’ outlets only in Singapore. Kris+ privileges can be enjoyed at selected partner outlets in Singapore and overseas.
- Can I transfer or pool my KrisPay miles together with another Kris+ user?
KrisPay miles cannot be transferred to or pooled together with another Kris+ user.
- I want to top up my KrisPay Wallet by transferring my KrisFlyer miles to KrisPay miles. What is the conversion rate between KrisFlyer miles and KrisPay miles?
1 KrisFlyer mile is equivalent to 1 KrisPay mile. Please note that the dollar value displayed on the Transfer screen is indicative and is merely meant to provide an approximate estimate of the dollar value of your desired KrisFlyer miles.
- I want to top up my KrisPay Wallet using partner reward points I have earned. What is the conversion rate to convert the earned partner reward points to KrisPay miles?
The conversion rate differs for each partner. You can key in the number of earned partner reward points you wish to convert in the transfer screen, and the number of KrisPay miles you will receive through the conversion will be reflected on the screen.
- I’ve converted the wrong amount of KrisFlyer miles or earned partner reward points to KrisPay miles. How can I reverse this?
As the transfer process into your KrisPay Wallet is one-way, we will not be able to process any reversals. Please ensure that the KrisFlyer miles or earned partner reward points you wish to convert to KrisPay miles are correct before proceeding to confirm the transfer.
No conversion transactions can be reversed.
- Which partners allow conversion of earned partner reward points to KrisPay miles?
The Kris+ partners participating in the rewards points conversion programme are listed in the Transfer screen. At present, this feature is available for DBS and UOB.
- Are there any administrative/service fees for the conversion of earned partner rewards points to KrisPay miles?
Kris+ does not charge administrative/service fees for such conversions. Any administrative/service fees levied by our partners, if applicable, will be displayed at the point of the conversion request and will be collected directly by the partner.
- I have issues topping up the KrisPay Wallet when I try to convert my earned partner reward points.
Please ensure that you are using valid partner log in credentials when accessing the partner Transfer page. In addition, please check that the partner reward points are eligible for conversion to KrisPay miles. This is governed by the respective partner’s Terms and Conditions, which can be viewed from the partner conversion page or on the partner’s website.
- I have completed my conversion of KrisPay miles by converting my earned partner reward points. How can I logout from my partner (e.g. DBS/UOB) account?
You will be automatically logged out of your partner account (e.g. DBS/UOB) after you make your conversion transaction. If you wish to convert additional earned partner rewards points, please log in again to your partner account and follow the conversion steps shown in the app.
- How do I earn KrisPay miles through Kris+?
KrisPay miles are earned from your purchases from our participating partners that are paid for using cash, credit card or debit card payments at partner outlets. KrisPay miles cannot be purchased. Simply key in the value of the payment made, and show the cashier the dynamic QR code generated on your mobile device. KrisPay miles will be awarded upon successful scanning of your QR code by the partner at the time of payment.
- Can I earn KrisPay miles when I pay for a Kris+ privilege?
Unless excluded by a Kris+ privilege’s terms and conditions, KrisPay miles can be earned from Kris+ privilege purchases made using cash, credit card or debit card.
- How many KrisPay miles can I earn from each payment? Does it differ among partners?
The earn rate differs among partners and sometimes among outlets of a specific partner. More information can be found on the partner/privilege details screen.
- Can I earn KrisPay miles at all Kris+ partners?
Currently, not every partner enables you to earn KrisPay miles for purchases made at their outlets. To see which partners you can earn KrisPay miles at, tap on ‘Discover’ in the menu bar> Explore Places> View more and filter ‘Earn miles’.
- I have accidentally entered the wrong amount of my purchase when I tried to earn KrisPay miles from the partner. What should I do?
You should immediately ask the cashier not to approve the reward on the merchant app and re-submit your request with the right amount paid by cash, debit card, or credit card to generate a new QR code.
- I have forgotten to earn my KrisPay miles after I made payment at a partner. What can I do?
Earned KrisPay miles must be awarded immediately at the time of payment and point of sale at the partner outlet. They cannot be claimed at any other time.
- What happens to my KrisPay miles if I get a refund from a partner for my purchase?
The refund of purchases made with cash, credit, or debit card is subject to each partner’s terms and conditions. If a refund is made at a partner outlet, Singapore Airlines will have the sole and absolute discretion to deduct the corresponding KrisPay miles/ KrisFlyer miles originally awarded to the relevant account that was earned from the refunded purchase.
- What if I do not have enough KrisPay miles for the full amount of my redemption?
Even if you do not have sufficient KrisPay miles for the full amount of your redemption, you can still use your KrisPay miles to partially offset the redemption. Simply enter the amount of KrisPay miles you wish to use for your redemption, and the cashier at our partner outlets will inform you of the remaining amount to be paid using cash, credit card or debit card, where applicable. Alternatively, you can also top up your KrisPay Wallet by converting miles from your KrisFlyer account or earned reward points from our partners’ reward programmes at any time.
- Must I use KrisPay miles to pay for a Kris+ privilege?
Unless excluded by the privilege’s terms and conditions, a Kris+ privilege can be paid for using cash, credit card or debit card or redeemed using KrisPay miles.
- How can I check that my redemption using KrisPay miles has been successful?
You will see a redemption confirmation once you have successfully completed a redemption using Kris+. You may verify that your transaction was successful by checking your transaction history in the Kris+ app.
- Am I able to request a refund for a redemption of miles made at a partner outlet?
Please check with the individual partners on their return or exchange policy. KrisPay miles that were redeemed for the purchase may be refunded and, depending on the circumstances, Singapore Airlines may request for information to verify your identity before refunding the KrisPay miles to your KrisPay Wallet. As partial refunds cannot be made, request for refund of the goods, services and/or products will be made in full. If the payment made consists of KrisPay miles and debit/credit card payments, the refund of both the redemption of KrisPay miles and debit/credit cards will be made in full.
- I have accidentally entered the wrong amount for the redemption of KrisPay miles. What should I do?
You should immediately ask the partner to void the redemption. Repeat the redemption transaction, and enter the correct amount paid by cash, debit/credit card.
- Can I transfer my earned KrisPay miles to my KrisFlyer account?
Yes, you can. Earned KrisPay miles can be transferred to your KrisFlyer account within 7 days of earning the KrisPay miles. To do so, simply tap on the "Transfer to KrisFlyer" button shown in the miles earned confirmation screen or transaction details screen.
The KrisPay miles earned for any transaction can only be transferred to your account in their entirety. For example, if you earned 100 KrisPay miles from a single transaction, the full 100 KrisPay miles must be transferred to your KrisFlyer account. If you have already redeemed some of the KrisPay miles you have earned, you will not be able to transfer the remaining KrisPay miles to KrisFlyer miles.
- When can I transfer my earned KrisPay miles to my KrisFlyer account?
Earned KrisPay miles must be transferred to your KrisFlyer account within 7 days of earning the KrisPay miles. KrisFlyer miles will have a validity of 3 years from the date of accrual and will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the KrisFlyer programme.
- Can I convert earned partner reward points to KrisPay miles and transfer them to my KrisFlyer account?
Yes, you can. Earned partner reward points can be converted into KrisPay miles. KrisPay miles can be transferred to your KrisFlyer account within 7 days of conversion to KrisPay miles. To do so, simply tap on the "Transfer to KrisFlyer" button shown in the Transfer confirmation screen or transaction details screen.
Earned partner reward points can only be converted and transferred to your KrisFlyer account in their entirety. For example, if you converted 100 earned partner reward points to 100 KrisPay miles in a single transaction, the full 100 KrisPay miles will be transferred to your KrisFlyer account. If you have already redeemed some of the KrisPay miles converted from earned partner reward points, you will not be able to transfer the remaining KrisPay miles to KrisFlyer miles.
- When can I transfer my earned partner reward points to my KrisFlyer account?

- The Kris+ mobile application is owned and operated by Singapore Airlines Limited. When you use this application, you signify your agreement to these Terms of Use and other applicable terms, conditions, and notices, including but not limited to the Conditions of Use of the Kris+ mobile application. If this is not your intention and you disagree with any part of these Terms of Use or such other applicable terms and conditions, you should not use this application.
- The information contained in the Kris+ mobile application may change without notice. Singapore Airlines does not warrant nor represent the accuracy or completeness of the Kris+ mobile application or any of the data or information contained in the Kris+ mobile application.
Service Provider
The “Services” consist of the provision to you of a software application to enable you to access and view the content (the “Kris+ mobile application”) together with SIA’s provision of that content, from time to time. The Kris+ mobile application allows you to transfer KrisFlyer miles or convert partner points to KrisPay miles, to be stored in your KrisPay Wallet, which can then be used as described under Section C (Commercial Terms) below. KrisPay miles can be earned when you pay for purchases at merchants that are our approved partners via the Kris+ mobile application and/or at such merchants’ physical stores.
Access Charges
You should be aware that your network provider may charge you both for access to its connection services and for the duration of your mobile phone’s connection while accessing Kris+; you are responsible for these costs and the costs of any other third party associated with the use of Kris+.
Start Date of Services
Your subscription to the Services commences on the date you receive the link to the Kris+ mobile application, as you are able to receive the Content immediately.
Cancellation
You may uninstall the Kris+ mobile application at any time if you desire to stop receiving the Services.
Intellectual Property
You acknowledge that SIA or third parties own all rights, title and interest in and to the Kris+ mobile application (including the name “Kris+” and “KrisPay”) and software and portions thereof, including without limitation all Intellectual Property Rights. “Intellectual Property Rights” means any and all rights existing from time to time under patent law, copyright law, law relating to the protection of confidential information and trade secrets, trademark law, common law protecting unregistered rights through the tort of passing off, unfair competition law, and any and all other proprietary rights, and any and all applications, renewals, extensions and restorations thereof, now or hereafter in force and effect worldwide. You agree not to modify, adapt, translate, prepare derivative works from, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Kris+ mobile application.
Copyright and Trade Marks
You also agree not to remove, obscure, or alter Singapore Airlines’ or any third party’s copyright notice, trademarks, or other proprietary rights notices affixed to or contained within or accessed in conjunction with or through the Kris+ mobile application.
Privacy Policy
Your Personal Data will be processed and protected in accordance with the Singapore Airlines Privacy Policy available at http://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/privacy-policy/
Disclaimer of Warranties
SIA and any third party who makes its software available in conjunction with or through the Kris+ mobile application disclaims any responsibility for any harm loss or damages resulting from your use of the Kris+ mobile application and/or any third-party software accessed in conjunction with or through the Kris+ mobile application. The Kris+ mobile application and any third-party software made available in conjunction with or through the Kris+ mobile application are provided on an "as is" basis with no Warranties whatsoever. SIA and such third parties expressively disclaim to the fullest extent permitted by law all express, implied and statutory warranties, including without limitation, the warranties of partner ability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of proprietary rights. SIA and any third parties who make their software available in conjunction with or through the Kris+ mobile application disclaim any warranties regarding availability, security, reliability, timeliness, and performance of the Kris+ mobile application and such third-party software. You further understand and agree that you download and/or use the Kris+ mobile application and all third-party software made available in conjunction with or through the Kris+ mobile application at your own discretion and risk and that you will be solely responsible for any loss or damages to your mobile device system or computer or loss of data that results from the download of use of the Kris+ mobile application and/or all third-party software.
Alteration to the Services, Termination
SIA may amend all or part of the Services at any time. You acknowledge that SIA can withdraw any information, data or content forming a portion of the Services, or cease providing the Services entirely and terminate this Agreement at any time, without liability and without notice for any reason whatsoever.
Unpredictable nature of the Services
You understand and acknowledge that the transmission of information through telecommunications channels is unpredictable in nature and depends on, amongst other issues, inter alia, (i) third party telecommunications operators and networks and (ii) the proper maintenance of your receiving equipment. SIA gives no guarantee of the continued availability and quality of reception of the Services.
Interruption of the Services
The Services may be interrupted, in whole or in part, in a case of force majeure (being events outside the control of either you or SIA) or during periods of maintenance. SIA and/or SIA's designated representative(s) cannot be held liable for any loss or damages caused directly or indirectly by the interruption of all or part of the Services in the case of force majeure, nor loss of profits, contracts, reputation, nor for any consequential loss of any kind. For the avoidance of doubt, SIA does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury caused from its negligence.
Non-transferable rights
The rights to use the Services are personal to you, and you may not transfer or assign to a third party any of your rights and obligations as defined in this Agreement or any other document constituting this Agreement.
Governing law
This Agreement is governed and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Singapore Airlines and keep Singapore Airlines indemnified against any claims, damages, losses, expenses, costs, disbursements and other liabilities which may occur against or be suffered by Singapore Airlines in connection with:
- your access and use of any biometric login function (where applicable) and the Kris+ mobile application;
- any improper or unauthorised use of any biometric login function (where applicable) or the Kris+ mobile application by you, or any improper use of your mobile device (whether authorised by you or otherwise);
- any act or omission by any third party (including a relevant mobile or internet service provider);
- any delay or failure in any transmission, despatch or communication facilities; or
- any breach by you of these Terms of Use.
General Conditions
- Misuse of one’s KrisPay miles may result in suspension of the KrisFlyer account. Singapore Airlines reserves the right to claim compensation for damages sustained in connection with the misuse of Kris+ mobile application.
- Singapore Airlines reserves the right to modify Kris+ and any of its features, including these Terms of Use at any time. This includes changes without limitation to the following:
- Kris+ Partners
- Rules of earning, using, or expiry of KrisPay miles in the KrisPay wallet
- Rules of any privileges or promotions (whether conducted by SIA, in conjunction with Kris+ Partners, or otherwise) and any other campaign
- Transfer rate for KrisFlyer miles to KrisPay miles
- Transfer rate of KrisPay miles to KrisFlyer miles
- Conversion rate for KrisPay miles to indicative dollar equivalent
- Conversion rate for earned partner reward points to KrisPay miles
- Although Singapore Airlines will use reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes to the use of the Kris+ mobile application and to these Terms of Use, it is the responsibility of members to keep themselves up to date. Any use of the Kris+ mobile application will be deemed as acceptance of any amendment.
- Certain partner benefits and rewards may be subject to their own set of terms and conditions, as specified separately by each relevant partner.
- Singapore Airlines reserves the right to audit your account at any time for compliance with these Terms of Use without prior notice.
- You agree to provide Singapore Airlines with any information that is true, accurate and complete as we may request from time to time for the purposes of providing our services to you, including opening, operating, maintaining and administering your KrisPay Wallet, KrisPay mobile application and KrisFlyer account (including conducting customer due diligence), and as required by applicable laws. You undertake to promptly notify in writing and provide Singapore Airlines with information regarding any changes in circumstances that may cause any such information provided to become false, inaccurate or incomplete and also undertake to provide any other additional documents, records and information as may be required by Singapore Airlines and/or applicable law. You agree to co-operate with Singapore Airlines in full. You permit us to keep records of such information.
Enrolment and Obligations
- Usage of the Kris+ mobile application is available to anyone with an existing KrisFlyer membership.
- There is no enrolment fee to use the Kris+ mobile application.
- The usage of the Kris+ mobile application will be dependent on the validity of your KrisFlyer membership. The usage of the Kris+ mobile application will be available as long as your KrisFlyer membership is active.
- All of the KrisFlyer membership obligations of the KrisFlyer terms and conditions apply to Kris+ users. The KrisFlyer terms and conditions can be found at https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub_krisflyer/termsconditions-kf/ .
Using Kris+ Privileges
- Kris+ privileges can be enjoyed at selected partners. Kris+ privileges can be changed by Singapore Airlines or the partner at any time, without prior notice.
- Unless excluded by the Kris+ privilege’s terms and conditions,
- a Kris+ privilege can be redeemed using Kris+ miles or paid cash, credit card or debit card.
- KrisPay miles can be earned from Kris+ privilege purchases made using cash, credit card or debit card.
- Certain Kris+ privileges may be subject to additional terms and conditions published by each partner. Please refer to each individual partner’s terms and conditions.
- Singapore Airlines is not responsible or liable for any defects, discrepancies, or issues with any transaction, servicing or product-related matters including but not limited to any hardware issues of the equipment (e.g. scanners, credit card payment terminals) used by any partner in the transaction process.
Topping up KrisPay Wallet (in the Kris+ mobile application) with KrisPay miles by transferring KrisFlyer miles
- KrisPay miles are the base unit of measurement within the wallet function of the Kris+ mobile application.
- One KrisPay mile is equivalent to one KrisFlyer mile. Singapore Airlines reserves the right to make changes to the transfer rates without prior notice.
- Each top up of the KrisPay Wallet is subject to a minimum top up amount of 1 KrisFlyer mile. Top ups of the KrisPay Wallet are non-reversible.
- KrisPay miles which have expired cannot be extended. Singapore Airlines may, at its sole discretion, and without prior notice, change the minimum and maximum number of KrisFlyer miles for each top up of the KrisPay Wallet.
- Pooling of KrisPay miles is not permitted, and each KrisFlyer and Kris+ membership can be utilised by only one person. Singapore Airlines reserves the right to terminate a KrisFlyer account and forfeit all KrisFlyer miles and KrisPay miles in the account, if it is found to be used by more than one person.
- KrisPay miles are strictly non-transferable to another user unless stated otherwise in these Terms of Use.
Using KrisPay miles
- KrisPay miles can be used to redeem for part of or the total amount of goods or services sold by our range of partners. For a full list of our partners, please refer to the Kris+ mobile application. Participating partners are subject to change without notice.
- While Singapore Airlines may from time to time provide an indicative value of the KrisPay miles relative to Singapore dollars or other currencies:
- the “indicative value” is subject to change at the discretion of Singapore Airlines;
- Singapore Airlines may cancel the KrisPay miles at its discretion and holders of the KrisPay miles have no claim against Singapore Airlines for the “indicative value” of for any other monies; and
- holders of the KrisPay miles cannot withdraw the KrisPay miles for Singapore dollars or any other monies.
- Conversion rates are indicative and subject to change. Singapore Airlines reserves the right to change the conversion rate of KrisPay miles to Singapore dollars or other currencies without prior notice.
- A minimum number of 15 KrisPay miles is required in order to use the Kris+ mobile application for each redemption with a partner. Singapore Airlines may, at its sole discretion, change the minimum number of miles required to make a redemption at a partner.
- Goods or services fully or partially redeemed using KrisPay miles cannot be refunded. Replacements are subject to each individual partner’s terms and conditions.
- For other terms and conditions related to redemptions at the partners, please refer to each partner’s terms and conditions.
- Singapore Airlines is not responsible or liable for any defects, discrepancies, or issues with any transactional, servicing or product-related matters.
Earning KrisPay miles
- KrisPay miles can be earned when:
- Eligible Earn Transactions: you make a payment in cash, credit, or debit card at our range of Earn-partners (“Eligible Earn Transactions”). Transactions where using KrisPay miles are used to redeem goods or services will not be eligible in relation to the earning of KrisPay miles. Please refer to the Kris+ mobile application which indicates the partners you can earn miles from (“Earn-partners”). Participating Earn-partners are subject to change without notice; and
- Conversion of earned Partner Reward Points: you convert reward points (“Partner Reward Points”) that you have earned (and which have not been purchased) through the relevant partners (“Conversion-partners”), to KrisPay miles. Please see the “Top up” tab in the Kris+ mobile application which indicates the Conversion-partners you can convert earned Partner Rewards Points from. Participating Conversion-partners are subject to change without notice
- For Eligible Earn Transactions:
- The number of KrisPay miles you can earn for each Eligible Earn Transaction, also known as the “earn rate”, may vary by Earn-partner. Earn rates can be changed by Singapore Airlines or the Earn-partner at any time, without prior notice. Earn rates can be found on the “Partner details” page in the Kris+ mobile application, where applicable. The number of KrisPay miles earned will be (a) based on the applicable dollar earn rate of the respective Earn-partners, and (b) rounded down to the nearest whole number. For example, if the applicable earn rate is S$2 to 1 KrisPay mile, a spend amount of S$5 will result in an earn of 2 KrisPay miles.
- Replacements of items and refunds of goods or services purchased with cash, credit, or debit card are subject to each partner’s terms and conditions. In the event of a refund made at a partner, Singapore Airlines will have the sole and absolute discretion to deduct the corresponding earned KrisPay miles / KrisFlyer miles resulting from the relevant account in relation to said refund.
For other terms and conditions governing to purchases at the partners, please refer to each partner’s terms and conditions.
- Singapore Airlines is not responsible or liable for any defects, discrepancies, or issues with any transactional, servicing or product-related matters including but not limited to any hardware issues of the equipment (e.g. scanners, credit card payment terminals) used by any partner in the transaction process.
- For converting Earned Partner Reward Points to KrisPay miles:
- The minimum top up of the KrisPay wallet by converting earned Partner Reward Points is subject to a minimum set by the conversion-partner.
- Top ups of KrisPay miles into the KrisPay Wallet pursuant to conversion from earned Partner Reward Points are non-reversible.
- The conversion rate for the conversion of earned Partner Reward Points to KrisPay miles differs for each partner and is subject to change from time to time. You can key in the number of earned Partner Reward Points you wish to convert in the top-up screen within the Kris+ mobile application, and the number of KrisPay miles you will receive through the conversion of the corresponding earned Partner Reward Points will be reflected on the screen.

- Singapore Airlines is not responsible or liable for any defects, discrepancies, or issues with any transactional, servicing or product-related matters including but not limited to any hardware issues of the equipment (e.g. scanners, credit card payment terminals) used by the respective partners in the transaction process.
Transferring KrisPay miles to KrisFlyer miles
- KrisPay miles can be transferred into KrisFlyer miles and transferred to your KrisFlyer account only if it is earned from an (a) Eligible Earn Transaction, or through (b) Conversion of earned Partner Reward Points.
- KrisPay miles earned can only be transferred into KrisFlyer miles and transferred to your KrisFlyer account if you convert and transfer the number of miles earned per Eligible Earn Transaction or Conversion of earned Partner Reward Points (as the case may be) (a) in its entirety and (b) within 7 days from the point of accrual of the KrisPay miles.
- Transfer rates are merely indicative and subject to change. Singapore Airlines reserves the right to change the transfer rate of KrisPay miles to KrisFlyer miles without prior notice.
- Earned KrisPay miles that have been transferred into KrisFlyer miles and transferred to your KrisFlyer account will have a validity of 3 years within your KrisFlyer account, from the point of transfer. Such KrisFlyer miles will be subject to the same KrisFlyer terms and conditions at https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub_krisflyer/termsconditions-kf/
- Earned KrisPay miles can only be transferred into KrisFlyer miles and transferred to your own KrisFlyer account with the same KrisFlyer ID.
Expiry of KrisPay miles
- KrisPay miles will expire after 6 months after the last day of the equivalent month in which they were earned. For example, KrisPay miles transferred from KrisFlyer miles and credited into your KrisPay Wallet on any day in January 2017 will expire at 23:59 hours Singapore time (GMT+08:00 hours) on 31 July 2017. KrisPay miles are valid for 6 months from the month of top up and the month they were earned. For example, if you topped up 100 KrisPay miles into your KrisPay Wallet on any day in January 2019, they will expire on 31 July 2019, at 23:59 hours Singapore time (GMT +08:00 hours).
- KrisPay miles that have already expired cannot be extended.
- Notifications of expiring KrisPay miles will be displayed on the home screen of the Kris+ mobile application on the month of expiry.
Using Kris+ mobile application
- You must not use the Kris+ mobile application for any unlawful or prohibited purposes, or for any unauthorized or fraudulent payments.
- You must not:
- where applicable, resell the Services;
- use the Kris+ mobile application or your KrisPay miles for any activity which breaches any law;
- use the Kris+ mobile application or your KrisPay miles in a way which interferes with its availability with other users; or
- where applicable, use other means to transact or obtain information if you are unable to use the Kris+ mobile application.
If Singapore Airlines (in its sole discretion) believes that you are in breach, or will be in breach, of any of these Terms of Use, Singapore Airlines reserves its right to terminate your KrisFlyer account and forfeit the KrisFlyer miles and KrisPay miles therein.
- Singapore Airlines and its licensors retain all rights (including trade mark, copyright and patent rights) with respect to all software and underlying information and material available through the Kris+ mobile application. Where applicable, you must not download or otherwise export or re-export any software or underlying information or material available through the Kris+ mobile application except with the written permission of Singapore Airlines and in full compliance with all Singapore and other applicable laws and regulations. In particular, but without limitation, you must not download or otherwise export or re-export any software or underlying information or material available through the Kris+ mobile application unless such downloading occurs in the course of using Kris+ in accordance with the written instructions of Singapore Airlines.
- You represent that you are of legal age to use the Kris+ mobile application in accordance with these Terms of Use and to create binding legal obligations for any liability you may incur as a result of the use of the Kris+ mobile application. You are financially responsible for all uses of the Kris+ mobile application by yourself. You hereby represent and warrant that all information supplied by yourself in using the Kris+ mobile application are true and accurate.
Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Singapore Airlines shall not be liable to any member for any injury, loss, claim, damage, cost, disbursement or expense of any kind whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the use of the Kris+ mobile application, whether such injury, loss, claim, damage, cost, disbursement or expense is caused by Singapore Airlines’ negligence or otherwise, and whether Singapore Airlines has any control over the circumstances giving rise to the claim or not.
- Singapore Airlines will endeavour to ensure the availability of products and services provided by partners but will not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, damage, cost, disbursement or expense of any kind whatsoever arising from the failure by partners to provide such products and/or services. Where you use the services provided by a programme partner or purchase a product from a partner, their terms and conditions will apply and Singapore Airlines will not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, damage, cost, disbursement or expense of any kind whatsoever, howsoever arising.
- Singapore Airlines will not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, damage, cost, disbursement or expense of any kind whatsoever connected to the unavailability of the Kris+ mobile application to you in whole or in part or any failure or delay in any way connected with the use of the Kris+ mobile application because of ancillary equipment, the Singapore Airlines systems or technology or any other circumstances, including the use of or inability to use the Kris+ mobile application.
- Singapore Airlines’ liability with respect to any claims shall be limited to re-crediting the value of the KrisPay miles redeemed by you into Kris+ or providing other reasonable, alternative, and comparable benefits as exclusively determined by Singapore Airlines. For the avoidance of doubt, monetary compensation is expressly excluded and Singapore Airlines shall not be liable for any loss of revenue, profit, business, contract, reputation, or for any special, consequential, indirect, exemplary, punitive damages, howsoever arising.
Termination or Suspension of Service
- If your KrisFlyer account is suspended, you will not be able to use any KrisFlyer miles and KrisPay miles. Due to their limited validity period, these KrisPay miles may expire during the suspension period. Provided the accrued KrisPay miles have not expired during the suspension period, you may use the remaining valid KrisPay miles once the suspension from KrisFlyer is lifted.
- If your KrisFlyer account is permanently terminated, the KrisPay miles accrued shall be revoked and forfeited without compensation. Notwithstanding the suspension or permanent termination of the KrisFlyer account, you shall be liable for all damages, litigation and other associated costs, and such suspension or termination shall not be seen as a waiver by Singapore Airlines to pursue any other available remedy.
Miscellaneous
- Singapore Airlines may assign or deal with these Terms of Use in favour of any of its subsidiaries, subcontractors or appointed agents to carry out its obligations herein. Singapore Airlines shall not be responsible to you for any delay in performance or non-performance of its subcontractors and/or agents due to causes beyond its reasonable control.
- Singapore Airlines shall not be in breach of its obligations of confidentiality if disclosure of your confidential information is pursued in conjunction with an order of court, or is required by law or any governmental or regulatory authority. However, if the disclosure is not required with immediate effect, Singapore Airlines shall give you prior notice of such disclosure.
- Any KrisPay miles credited to your KrisPay Wallet in the Kris+ mobile application, that are found to be ineligible will be deducted automatically.
- The sale or barter of KrisPay miles is prohibited and will result in cancellation of these KrisPay miles. Members who breach this rule may also be subject to litigation and liable for damages, and transaction costs.
- Any transactions carried out on the Kris+ mobile application by KrisFlyer members under 12 years of age require consent from their parents or legal guardians. In countries where consent is required for members above 12 years of age, the law of the country where the transaction is conducted will apply. Singapore Airlines will not be liable for the verification of the parent’s or guardian’s signature, or for the verification of the parent’s or guardian’s authority to give consent.
- Should Kris+ collaterals be available in other languages, the English language version shall be the only point of reference if any discrepancy arises.
- These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore. Any unresolved dispute arising under, out of, or in connection with these Terms of Use, including any questions regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in Singapore in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre for the time being in force.
